Medical pressure gauge is an instrument used to measure blood pressure, cerebrospinal fluid pressure and other vital signs. Its working principle is to connect the measured object with the sensor through a closed system, and convert the pressure of the measured object into an electrical signal, which is then displayed by a computer or monitor.

The sensor of the medical pressure gauge is usually a piezoresistive sensor. This sensor consists of a circuit board with a pressure-sensitive film. When the pressure-sensitive film is subjected to pressure, the resistance value on the circuit board will change. This change can be amplified by an electrical signal amplifier and converted into an electrical signal related to the pressure value.
